Music company and entertainment label @300 caught @jeffstaple down here at the shop for a quick interview. They sat down with the principal of Reed Space to pick his brain about the rapid rates at which technology is evolving. Not many realize how deeply rooted jeff’s interest in technology actually is. The homie @dacoconut did some great detective work to get a snapshot of just that.

Have you been doing the wrong drugs all along? Well, Doctor @FiendBassy has prescribes a dosage of dope for us on this edition of SoundCloud Sunday. Be sure to use with caution. The Queens-rapper is back after leaving many of us itching for another hit. Once he released his debut album “Last Winter” in 2014, Bas hit the ground running and began touring around the world with the likes of J. Cole, Ab-Soul, Cozz, and Big Sean. Still, he seemed to be rather quiet in the music front during 2015. To the pleasant surprise of his fans, Bas had been quietly working on his craft. When “Revenge of the Dreamers II” dropped late last year we finally got a glimpse into the Dreamville-artist evolving as an artist and prepping to offer his follow-up musical contribution, “Too High To Riot.” In “Too High To Riot,” it seems as if Bas is giving listeners a clear window view of the depths of his mind while under the influence. In this setting we can observe him battling his conscious, being shaken up by the potholes on the road to success, and trying to overpower the hurdles of his personal life. These may be the issues that leave Bas rendered immobile in times of uproar. Although he

touches on copious different topics, the Fiend from Queens still managed create a very tight, close-knit sound. With help from the likes of The Hics, as well as slick production by Ron Gilmore, Ogee Handz & DikC, Bas was able to manifest a groovy yet murky atmosphere throughout the project. It’s easy to detect the growth in Bas’ sound. He’s certainly crept out of his comfort zone and has gotten more intimate with

his fans in his lyrics. Apparently, this approach is contagious as it got featured artists J. Cole and Cozz to offer some formidably direct verses during their guest appearances on “Night Job” and “Dopamine” respectively. From beginning to finish, Bas provides a truly exquisite “high.” By the end of the 12-track project, you may become a fiend. Listen here to get hooked.
