Whoever came up with this concept either got a raise or got fired. Regardless of their employment status they gave us a pretty entertaining commercial depicting the life of a supporting cast member. Check out the ad here to see what ties Draymond Green, Horace Grant and Destiny’s Child together.

Even at 100-Years young, Ida Keeling of Philadelphia makes time to stay active, stay healthy, and break records along the way. During the 122nd Penn Relays this past Saturday, Keeling set a new world record for the fastest time in a 100-meter dash for competitors 100+ at an impressive 1-minute and 17-seconds. What’s even more remarkable? She followed up her incredible performance with a quick set of push-ups for the crowd!

Ida is clearly a glowing representation of long-term health, but she also stands as a testament to preparation in all facets of life. Keeling’s daughter & trainer, Shelley Keeling, stood by her mother’s side and raised her hand at the finish line but attributes her mom’s praiseworthy feat to all the exercise she does on a regular basis like squats, calisthenics, and bike riding. Life in a lot of ways is full of race competitions. We all stand on our marks. We share a common goal of making it to the finish line. The question isn’t will you be first place, though. It’s, will you be in even better shape for the next track meet?

You probably want this ship to sail already but seriously, not enough people are appreciating the end of Kobe’s 20 year stay in the league. The man dropped sixty different points on 22-50 in his last game EVER! But we have to take it back to the moment where it really all started: the Bean’s first point. Not enough people know about how or where it was scored. Only a few seconds into the second quarter, Bryant, 18, drove down the lane against the Knicks to

Tonight, while some of us will be drooling over the fact that Golden State Warriors will more than likely set the record for the best NBA regular season of all time, the rest of us will be shedding tears and looking back on the career of a

living legend: Kobe Bryant.

The “Black Mamba” will be lacing them up and hitting the hardwood for the last time at the Staples Center this evening. As surreal as it may feel for many of us, we will have to endure an NBA future without seeing that signature jumpshot, hearing his name chanted from the rafters, or witnessing that one of a kind will to win. For inspiring countless generations to love the game and yell your name when shooting balled up paper into the garbage, we say: Thank You, Kobe Bryant.

Even though Kobe’s excellence as a player isn’t remotely in question, we feel like some of you need a reminder. Check out this legendary clip of the Mamba giving the Raptors 81-points back in January of 2006 (unless you’re Jalen Rose… you’ve gone through enough).
