Last week we had the pleasure of presenting

During the class we left the floor open for Q&A’s. We discussed the basics of camouflage design on Adobe Illustrator, and reviewed a brief history on the evolution of camouflage. We discussed various design techniques for
making your own camouflage.
history of camouflage and other techniques of crypsis.
VP showed us a classic camo with a modern twist by artist Jeff Koons. The Dazzle Camouflage a.k.a. RAZZLE DAZZLE originally created during WWI. It’s purpose wasn’t to conceal itself from the enemy since it was used on battle ships. Instead it was meant to make it difficult for enemies to estimate a target’s range, speed and actual position in.
The class also featured a curated showcase of Camouflage Pieces from the collection of VP and Dizmology!
Many thanks to VP for giving us his inside knowledge on Crypsis: The Art of Camouflage!
*Special thanks to Mosaic NYC for the visuals!
*Maachew Bentley for the color images!
