This past weekend, The Reed Space was proud to be part of the first ever Capsule Market. For those of you that don’t know, the Capsule trade show brings together some of the best brands from all over the world to preview their upcoming collections. It is held twice a year in Berlin, Paris, Las Vegas and New York with limited admission. This holiday season, many of the brands that showcase at Capsule were brought together to allow everyone to view and purchase limited and exclusive items from these various brands. With labels such as 10Deep, Staple Pigeon, Alife, Only, Maharishi, Mark McNairy, G-Pen, Naked and Famous and others, there was plenty to choose from in order to complete your holiday shopping. “This collaboration was brought to life through a simple conversation that started with three other designers that I greatly respect,” says jeffstaple, founder / creative director of Staple Design. “We not only represent both coastlines of America, but also represent the many facets of street culture. We are constantly inspired by these streets and wanted to find a way to give back by supporting Art Start, an organization that we greatly admire for their tireless efforts.”
The Art Start collaboration Varsity and Snapback brings together Staple, 10Deep, Huf and Black scale as one in order to support the Award-Winning, NYC Non-Profit Youth Organization and its use of the Creative Arts to transform young, at-risk lives. 100% of the sales of each item will be donated to benefit the Art Start program. Retailing at $224 for the varsity and $42 for the snapback, the limited edition collection will be released this Friday, November 29th in store on a first come first serve basis and online Saturday, November 30th (while quantities last).

Today at Reed we released the highly anticipated Black Pigeon New Balances in collaboration with size?. People began lining up Thursday afternoon to purchase the sneakers, and it’s a good thing they did because it only took an hour for them to sell out.
